Create a clean, finished garage with a coordinated black, gray, and white color palette that complements the Domino flake flooring while adding practical wall-mounted and overhead storage.

Outcome

The completed garage now has a durable Domino flake floor paired with Tricorn Black walls, a light gray ceiling, and Pure White trim for a clean, high-contrast finish. The new slatwall and overhead rack add useful storage while keeping more of the garage floor open and functional.

Starting Condition

The garage started with a bare concrete floor and beige painted walls. The walls had minor nail holes and a small area requiring texture repair. The space did not have the new slatwall or overhead storage system installed.

Preparation

Patched nail holes and minor wall imperfections.
Repaired and matched the small damaged wall texture area.
Cleaned and prepared the walls, ceiling, trim, and door for paint.
Mechanically prepared the concrete floor for the new coating system.
Cleaned the concrete surface and prepared edges and detail areas prior to coating.
Prepared installation locations for the slatwall and overhead storage rack.

Installation

Painted the garage walls Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black.
Painted the ceiling light gray to coordinate with the Domino floor blend.
Painted the trim and garage entry door Pure White for contrast.
Installed a full-broadcast Domino flake garage floor coating with a protective clear topcoat.
Installed one 4x8 slatwall storage panel.
Installed a basic slatwall hook bundle for flexible wall storage.
Installed one 4x8 overhead storage rack.
